Information the site collects
None. The site is made of static pages, and there is nowhere to enter information.
Services that receive visitor data
Three third-party services help deliver these pages. Like any web server, they receive your IP address and standard request details, such as your browser type and the page or file requested. I don't have access to their logs.
- GitHub Pages hosts the site and logs visitors' IP addresses for security purposes. See the GitHub General Privacy Statement.
- Google Fonts delivers the fonts used on each page. See the Google Fonts privacy FAQ.
- YouTube, owned by Google, provides video thumbnails on the homepage and project pages, which load without a click. It also provides the video player, which loads only when you press play. The player uses YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode, but once it loads, YouTube may store information in your browser. See the Google Privacy Policy.
Information stored in your browser
The site checks whether a newer version has been published. When one has, it reloads the page once and keeps the version number in your browser's session storage, so it doesn't reload repeatedly. That number isn't personal information, isn't sent anywhere, and is cleared when you close the tab.
Emailing me
The contact button opens your own email app. If you send me a message, I receive your email address and whatever you include, and I use it to reply to you.
Links to other sites
This site links to other websites, such as LinkedIn. They have their own privacy practices, which this statement doesn't cover.
